Notes for Capt. Robert Bean
Fought in the Indian War and the Revolutionary War, engaged in the Battle
of Kings Mountain.
Lived in Georgia from 1791 to 1805, Franklin County. Drew a blank in the
land lottery. in 1805 he sold what land he had there and moved to
Rutherford Co, Tenn. The land was sold to Robert's son, Lemuel.
Received two land grants in Franklin Co, Tenn on the Elk River in 1807.
He settled and lived the rest of his life in Marion Co, Tenn, in
Sweeten's Cove.342
