Shirley Grasty Monteith, 90, of 74 Sayles Town Road, Fairview, died Thursday, July 27, at St Joseph's Hospital.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The Rev. Willard Pruitt officiated.
A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Ciscero and Bertha Grasty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Monteith, and one son, Donald Monteith.
Surviving are one daughter, Katherine M. Justice of Fairview; two sons, Johnny Monteith of Asheville and Phillip Belk of Flagler Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Groce Funeral Home in Asheville was in charge of arrangements. ??????????
