Ethel Jones Pardue - THE AIKEN STANDARD - Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000
COLUMBIA - Ethel (Mae) Jones Pardue, 84, died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, at Baptist Hospital, Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville. The Rev. Paul Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
A native of Aiken County, Mrs. Pardue was a daughter of the late William A. and Lettie Mae Wise Jones. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pardue was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, Graniteville.
Surviving are her widower, James E. Pardue; one son, Don A. Pardue, Columbia; one daughter, Patricia P. Eckhardt, Columbia; two sisters, Lucille Berry, Aiken, and Alice Holsenback, Graniteville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ollie Eubanks, Jerry Couch, Lee Posey, Jack Williams, Lewis Ready, Charles Peters and Leon Hayes.
Memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 38, Graniteville, S. C. 29829.
